Be Ready For The Unexpected

Be ready for the unexpected. Day in and day we can easily go through the motions. We can live life very disengaged and quite frankly make it through most days. We really at times can live a full day without even communicating verbally with one person. Crazy, but true!

If you weren’t living under a rock in the last twenty-four hours then you know that the New England Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl in the Brady Belichick era. Regardless of what you think about the game the greatest takeaway I have is the unbelievable preparation that the Patriots exhibit.

Making The Workplaces Healthy

How we work in America is very interesting. We work hard, this is America after all. As I have begun my professional life I have seen how work infatuates us as humans at times to no end. We have to pay our bills, buy the nice technology, and get those sweet snacks that last one night. As we trend into bigger and better ideas and overall smarter strategies for production one thing we should be looking into is how we can make work healthier (no this does not mean cutting out those crucial meetings).

I though the players I was looking at then (single parent, without a dad, rough backgrounds) needed toughness more than any other student. However, I realized this year that players (and people) from ALL walks of life (city/rural, two parent/one parent, etc…) needed it.

REALITY CHECK

As the year of 2018 is winding down how about we give ourselves a nice reality check to refocus on life. Reality check can help us realign our way of life and give us perspective. It is very easy to lose our reality as we get so caught up in our own circumstances and it is even easier to forget to check ourselves.
